Lymphatic Massage

The body is comprised of a number of systems that all work together to keep us healthy. The lymphatic system is made up of a connected system of ducts and nodes throughout the body. These lymphatic system drains toxins and other waste products from cells. If the lymphatic system isn’t functioning properly it can cause or contribute to many various conditions including immune system problems. It is helpful to help the body clear the lymphatic system to improve overall health and function.

What is a Lymphatic Massage?

A lymphatic massage is also sometimes known as a lymphatic drainage massage. This special type of massage is supposed to stimulate the lymphatic system to remove blockages that can be causing harm. The lymphatic system is part of the circulatory system. It is comprised of vessels that move lymph fluid through the body. It is an essential part of the immune system.

How Does a Lymphatic Massage Work?

A lymphatic massage is designed to help clear the body’s lymphatic system by stimulating the muscles that surround the ducts and vessels. The massage will assist in releasing clogs in the system and thus help move fluid through the body. Our lymphatic massage is performed with a special system called the Ballancer Pro. It uses state-of-the-art technology to apply controlled pressure to specific areas of the body that are part of the lymphatic system.

What Happens During a Massage Treatment?

The Ballancer Pro provides a massage that is similar to four massage therapists performing excellent treatments all at the same time. The system is made of a garment that inflates and deflates in specific places throughout the massage cycle. It puts pressure on your body in the exact locations that will be of benefit to the lymphatic system. The massage is gentle and relaxing while it helps your body drain fluids from the lymph nodes. The Ballancer Pro has 24 chambers that deliver massage and pre-massage to prepare the body’s lymphatic system for treatment.

What Are the Benefits of Massage on the Lymphatic System?

In addition to releasing toxins in the system, massage also offers some additional benefits. Massage increases the body’s blood flow, particularly deep in the musculoskeletal system. Massage can improve joint and muscle pain and accelerate healing following an injury or surgery. It will reduce recovery time after exercise or physical training. It can also improve the skin’s elasticity and reduce the appearance of cellulite. It can also assist in the removal of the body’s waste products from fat metabolism and thus may help with weight management.
